WESTPORT FLEA MARKET

While working with Will Gregory Public Relations in the summer of 2019 I ran the Facebook page for a local restaurant, Westport Flea Market. This restaurant is a casual burger and beer joint located in the heart of midtown Westport in Kansas City.

The goal was to increase the restaurant’s online presence and promote the restaurant as a whole, encouraging locals to dine there.

On Facebook I posted about once a week with original photos and other curated content.

The Westport Flea Market is known for it’s fun, easy-going atmosphere and their trivia nights. I started a weekly trivia contest on Facebook called #FreeFleaFriday, where I posted a burger-related trivia question and those who commented the correct answer with the hashtag were put into a random generator and selected to win a free burger. The goal was to get more people interested and interacting with Westport Flea Market online as well as encouraging the winning customer to go to the restaurant the following week before their free burger expired.
